Tennis lessons for kids in Miami: the right program for every age

Explorers, Juniors or Youth? A guide for parents to Legacy junior programs for ages 4 to 18, with lessons at home that keep family life simple.

Children learn tennis best when the lesson fits their age: the games, the length of the session and the way each skill is taught. Legacy offers three junior programs for ages 4 to 18, each as private or semi-private lessons.

Explorers, ages 4 to 7

Sixty-minute sessions of playful first lessons in coordination and confidence. The goal is a first love of tennis, built through games and imagination.

Juniors, ages 8 to 12

Sixty-minute sessions of game-based training in real technique, footwork and tactics, built around the games children love.

Youth, ages 13 to 18

Ninety-minute sessions for competitive and aspiring players: advanced technique, fitness, strategy and the mental side of competing.

Safety comes first

Every Legacy coach is background-checked and SafeSport trained, and every session is covered by liability insurance. Our coaches are CPR and first aid certified, and our head coach is an RSPA Certified Elite Professional.

Parents stay close

After every session, coach notes appear in the parents' member area, and a monthly progress check-in is shared with parents. Siblings or a friend can train together in a semi-private session.

Close to home

Lessons happen at your residence, your private court or your building's court, from Miami to Palm Beach. Your child brings shoes and water. We bring everything else.
