PRIVACY & TERMS

Clear and simple.

How Legacy looks after your information, and the terms that apply when you book with us. Please read them carefully.

PRIVACY POLICYTERMS OF SERVICELAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 12, 2026
PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is part of Legacy.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how The Legacy Tennis Academy LLC, doing business as Legacy Tennis & Wellness (“Legacy,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit thelegacytennisacademy.com, book or take part in our programs, or otherwise contact us. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book, apply, buy a gift card, join our list or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, residence or building, area, preferred schedule, program choices, tennis level and goals. For junior programs, a parent or guardian provides the child’s name, age and stage. If you choose to tell us about an injury or health condition, we use it only to coach you safely.

Account and booking records. We keep records of your sessions, packages, membership, payments and preferences so we can run your program and your member area.

Information collected automatically. We count website visits without cookies, using anonymous statistics such as the pages viewed, the referring website and the general type of device. These statistics do not identify you. Your browser may also remember simple preferences, such as your language. If we advertise on Instagram or Facebook, Meta’s pixel may collect information about your visit under Meta’s own privacy policy.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to arrange, confirm and deliver your sessions; to process payments and manage your membership, packages and member area; to send booking confirmations, reminders and progress updates; to reply to your messages; to keep participants safe; to improve our programs and website; to send the Legacy List emails you have asked for; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Legacy never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the details needed to confirm and record your payment, such as the amount, date and the last four digits of your card.

5. Emails, calls and messages

When you book or contact us, we may email, call, text or message you on WhatsApp about your sessions and your account. We send marketing emails, such as the Legacy List, only if you sign up for them, and every one includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time. Messages about sessions you have booked will continue while you are a client.

6. Photos and video

We never photograph or film clients without their consent, and never photograph or film a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian. Anyone selected for The Faces of Legacy signs a full image release before any shoot, which explains exactly how the images may be used.

7. How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Legacy, such as our website host, payment processor and email services, and only as needed for them to do their work; with professional advisers, such as accountants and attorneys; when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, coaches and others; and in connection with a sale, merger or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

Ask Legacy, the assistant on our website, is powered by AI from Anthropic. What you type in it is sent to Anthropic only to create an answer, under Anthropic’s own privacy policy. Legacy keeps a copy of each conversation to answer you and to improve our service. If you choose to send your question to our team, we also keep your name and how to reach you, only to reply to you.

If you tap USE MY LOCATION to see whether we coach in your area, your phone or browser asks your permission first. Your location is checked only on your own device and is not sent to us or stored. If your area is outside ours and you ask us to tell you when Legacy comes to you, we receive your approximate area (about 1 km) with your name and contact, only to reply to you.

If you add someone who helps with your schedule, such as an assistant, house manager or driver, we keep their name, email and phone only to send them your sessions and reminders and to handle the changes they ask for. They never see payments, prices or progress. You can remove them at any time in your member area, and their private link stops working.

Arrival notes you add for your coach, such as gate, parking or concierge details, are seen only by your coach and Legacy, and are used only to reach your court on time. To warn you about rain, we check the weather forecast for the general area of your sessions; no personal details are sent to the weather service.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as you are a client and afterward only as long as needed to provide our services, resolve questions, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including secure connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.

11. Children’s privacy

Junior programs are booked and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent’s consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated to clients directly.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Booking with Legacy.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of thelegacytennisacademy.com and to every program, session, membership, package, gift card and event offered by The Legacy Tennis Academy LLC, doing business as Legacy Tennis & Wellness (“Legacy”). By booking, paying for or taking part in any Legacy service, you agree to these Terms and to our Policies. If you book for a minor, you agree to these Terms on the minor’s behalf and confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian.

2. Our services

Legacy offers private tennis lessons, Wellness Tennis, junior programs, group clinics, Legacy Socials and related experiences in South Florida, from Miami to Palm Beach. Program details, schedules and coaches may change from time to time. All bookings are subject to the availability of a coach, a court and a suitable time.

3. Where sessions take place

Private sessions take place on a court you choose, such as your residence, community or school court. When you choose or provide a court, you are responsible for having permission to use it and for any access fees. Group sessions take place at Legacy group locations at set times. If a court is unsafe or unavailable, your coach may move, shorten or reschedule the session.

4. Booking and payment

Prices are shown when you build your program and are confirmed before you pay. Payment is taken securely at checkout through Stripe. Your first session is The Legacy Introduction. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm your schedule with you personally. Prices for future periods may change, and we will tell you before any change applies to you. Sessions already completed are not refundable.

5. Legacy Membership

A monthly Legacy Membership renews automatically each month on the same date and holds your weekly time. You authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel. You may cancel or pause at any time with 30 days’ notice, from your member area or by email, and your membership continues until the end of the notice period. Six-month and twelve-month plans are paid in full in advance and reserve your weekly time for the full term.

6. Session packages

Packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase, or for 6 or 12 months when that longer validity is chosen and paid for at checkout or added later from the member area. Sessions not used within that period expire. Packages belong to the household that purchased them unless we agree otherwise.

7. Founding Membership

Founding Membership is offered by invitation to a maximum of fifteen households. The annual Founding fee of $2,000 is paid in advance, renews each year, and covers the Founder privileges described on our website. Training sessions are booked and paid for separately. The Founding fee is non-refundable once Founder privileges have begun, except where required by law.

8. Rescheduling and cancellations

You may reschedule a session free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice, from your member area. Sessions are rescheduled, not cancelled. Within 24 hours a session can no longer be changed, and it counts as completed, as does a session missed without notice, except in a genuine emergency. If weather or court conditions prevent play, we move the session indoors or reschedule it at no cost. If Legacy needs to cancel a session, you receive a make-up session to play within 60 days.

9. Gift cards and referral credit

Legacy gift cards can be used toward any Legacy program and do not expire. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen gift card codes.

When a friend you invite becomes a paying Legacy client, you receive $50 in Legacy credit, once per friend. Credit is applied to future Legacy sessions, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or ended for future invitations at any time.

10. Health, safety and assumption of risk

Tennis and wellness activities are physical and carry a risk of injury. Before taking part, you confirm that you are in suitable health to participate and that you will tell your coach about any injury, medical condition or limitation. You agree to follow your coach’s instructions and to stop if you feel unwell. All participants, or a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor, accept the Legacy participation waiver at checkout. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks of participation.

11. Photos and recordings

Clients are never photographed or filmed without their consent. You may not record other participants or coaches without their permission.

12. Your member account

Your member area is personal to you and your household. Sign-in links are sent to your email address and should not be shared. Please tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

13. Website content

All content on this website, including text, logos, photographs and design, belongs to Legacy or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy, its coaches and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and Legacy’s total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “last updated” date, applies to bookings made after that date.
